Do not call me Beautiful, a superficial word spoken by an insincere voice with a deceitful intention.
For me Beautiful is another word for “Be Responsive to my innuendos” or “ I think you’re shallow and I can easily get you”.

Being called beautiful is the reason why many fatherless daughters now have fatherless children
Being called beautiful is the reason why young girls with low self esteem enter rooms and let boys do what they want to do.

I know there is nothing wrong with the word itself but nevertheless puts a cringe all over my body
Does a single word define us girls? Does a single word enough to tell us who we are and what we are capable of? Does a single word can explain and give meaning to who we are?

“Beautiful” is the most vaguest word I’ve ever heard.

I would rather you tell me I’m intelligent, unforgettable, extraordinary, a girl of many possibilities
Tell me I give the sky a more vibrant color when I look at it, tell me I give warmth to people’s heart when I smile, tell me that I can create perfection with my hands.
Tell me that I am one in seven billion people, that I am incomparable, that in a vast of souls scattered, that I am the one who radiates so brightly.

Tell me that my life matters, that meeting me would probably cost you your sanity, but you wouldn’t have it any other way.
Tell me I am a combination of mostly complicated things mixed with a fragile heart, Tell me you couldn’t understand because that’s what I am and what it is but tell me you like it.
Tell me you would rather have and call me “Different” than “Beautiful”

Don’t tell me I am Beautiful for your own advantage, because you know I, am more than that.
